Old Made New, formerly Angella Eisman Design, has officially launched a new website complete with new products and name. Old Made New continues to transform old into new by recycling wool and cashmere sweaters into beautiful, unique products. These products have gained attention by popular websites and print magazines such as ApartmentTherapy.com, Romantic Homes Magazine, and Better Homes and Gardens DIY Magazine.
The product line was launched in 2009 when designer and owner, Angella Eisman, found felted wool and cashmere to be the ideal material for her rose scarf design. Each season new products have been added. The line has grown to include rose-shaped pillows, market totes, rose scarves, ruffle scarves, hair accessories, wine sleeves, kindle covers and more.
Each year, Old Made New reuses more than one thousand pounds of wool and cashmere. All current products are handmade in the North Carolina Blue Ridge Mountains. The aspects of being locally made, uniquely designed and luxurious appeal to style-concious and eco-concious shoppers alike.
“It is satisfying to know that thousands of pounds of beautiful yet cast-off fabrics have been given new life and now reside in peoples’ homes as functional products.” says Angella Eisman, designer and owner of Old Made New.
Old Made New products can be found at www.oldmadenew.org, as well as Artwalk in downtown Boone, North Carolina.
