Old Made New Recycled Leather

As part of our relaunch in 2021, we are excited to expand to include products made of recycled leather. Having used recycled textiles in the past, we know of their huge potential. In 2009 our product line started with items made of recycled wool. We quickly expanded to include recycled cashmere. Our scarves, pillows, tote bags, and other designs were very well received. First, our scarves made an appearance on The Today Show. A short time later our pillows were featured in Better Homes & Gardens DIY Magazine and several other publications. 

It makes sense to recycle leather. It’s a beautiful, high-quality textile that should be respected and well-used. Like the wool and cashmere sweaters, we hope to transform many old leather garments into beautiful new things. Why use something only once, especially quality materials such as wool, cashmere, and leather? 

The leather items we recycle are usually old jackets and coats which are damaged, heavily-used, outdated, or all of the above. We recycle the leather outer, the jacket linings, buttons, cuffs…even the pockets. Shop our leather products and come back as we continually create more.
