Dot Garlands and Felt Buntings
It is always fun to watch kids come up with creative ideas to raise funds. We pay for most everything we deem necessary but don’t mind leaving them a little lean so that they can learn the value of working to raise money for something that is important to them. Our 11-year-old loves, loves, loves soccer and has agreed to raise the money required for her to play on the local travel team.
I’ve come up with a simple product that she can easily make for the shows this fall. These are felted sweater garlands in a bunting style and a dot style.
I can’t help but to share a bit of her work here because she is doing a super job and has put in a lot of time. These garlands are fun as a gift wrapping accent, to decorate a room, to hang in place of streamers at a party, etc. So many fun uses!
Cora has made them in a felt bunting garland style (triangles).
And dot garlands.
They come in short-length (4 ft) for $3 and long-length (8 ft) for $6. And can be made in all sorts of colors.
These will be at the shows this fall.
