Thrift Find: Le Creuset and more

It’s Monday! And though we didn’t shop much this past week, the kids did manage to drag me to a yard sale put on by the town’s Service League. And yes, the kids literally dragged. My oldest woke up extra early; she had money burning a hole in her pocket. So out we went, first for a donut and then hit the sale.

I found just a couple things. First, this beauty of a large dutch oven. I had been looking for one for a while so was very happy with this find. It joins my 3 smaller Le Creuset pieces.

I’m pretty particular about what I buy (whether at thrift stores, grocery stores, or the mall). Lots of things call to me but I don’t enjoy having a lot of stuff around the house no matter the price. Art supplies and activities for the kids are a type of item I pick up often though.

This shrink-it kit was a hit and we got hours of fun from it. My kids made all sorts of their own shapes and pictures (that’s Darth Vader in the front). And we also found tried some online printable graphics that we traced onto the plastic.
