Featured: 2012 Woolly Worm Festival

The Woolly Worm Festival was a smashing success this past weekend. You guys are amazing. It was wonderful meeting so many folks who came out to my booth. Your many compliments and purchases were so humbling and encouraging. Thank you! We came home exhausted but elated.

We pulled in around 8 last night and I was in bed by 9. Whew! We didn’t even unload my car but once we do I’ll get right to adding product back into the online shop.

Shortly after noon on Friday, we checked in and set up the tent which we rented from a local company.

I came up with a rough sketch so that it would be easy to begin arranging the displays.

We nearly sold out of bags the first day so we changed up the display the second day to feature the scarves a bit more. We switched the couch to the right side of the booth and hung scarves on the back wall. We sold so many scarves the second day so I think this display worked well! In hind sight, I wish we had done this the first day.

We were so thankful for nice weather. Our space was 12′ by 12′ and the tent was 10′ by 10′ so we set the tent up as far to the front as we could. This left space behind the tent for product storage and a napping spot for baby boy. He was a grandma magnet anytime he was out in the booth which kept him smiling all weekend. :)
